A New Era of McLaren
McLaren's new-era hybrid supercar. A twin-turbo V6 paired with an E-motor delivers 671 hp through a revolutionary carbon fiber architecture weighing just 1,395 kg.
The McLaren Artura represents a transformative moment for McLaren, introducing an all-new hybrid powertrain and platform while maintaining the purity and driver engagement that define the brand. This is McLaren's vision of the next generation supercar.
The Artura introduces an entirely new 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, the first McLaren has designed from scratch for hybrid applications. Combined with an axial-flux electric motor, the system produces 671 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque. The electric motor fills in torque during turbo lag, providing instant response.
The all-new McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA) is 10% lighter than the Monocage II structure, while incorporating the electric motor and battery into the structural design. The result is an astonishingly light curb weight of just 1,395 kg – among the lightest in the hybrid supercar segment.
The Artura features an all-new E-diff integrated into a new 8-speed seamless-shift gearbox, the first automatic transmission from McLaren. The system provides the driving engagement of a dual-clutch with the refinement of a torque converter automatic.
The interior continues McLaren's driver-focused philosophy with a new infotainment system featuring a portrait-oriented 8-inch screen and electronic instrument cluster. The cabin is minimalist yet luxurious, with extensive use of Alcantara and optional premium leather.
